Q. How did you get your autographs?
A. Most of our autographs were obtained in person (Drew, IP) or through the mail (J.R., TTM, IP). Some of our inventory was purchased from reputable dealers. We do our homework to ensure the autographs purchased are similar to confirmed examples. Certificates of Authenticity (COA) will be included with every autograph sold on our website, unless noted otherwise.
Q. Are your autographs real?
A. All of our autographs are 100% authentic hand-signed signatures and each carries a 30-day money-back guarantee! Pre-print signatures will be noted clearly in the item title or description.
Q. I don't see the celebrity/athlete that I collect. Can you get him/her for me?
A. Please let us know who you collect and we will do our best to get him or her for you! At this time, we can only fulfill in-person autographed photo requests; sorry, no through-the-mail (TTM). We are currently taking consignments/requests for Oklahoma City Thunder (NBA) and select Western Conference (NBA) players. Drew (celebrities) is currently taking a much-needed break from the hobby and is unable to provide this service at this time. Q. Your prices are too high for me. Can you go any lower, or can you accept payment installments?
A. Many of our autographs were obtained in-person. Usually this involves lots of "being in the right place at the right time." Sometimes we wait for hours (in the rain, in the cold ,etc.) just for the opportunity to see a celebrity or athlete, and even then, he/she doesn't always sign for us. The "high" price you see is compensation for our time and resources (markers, pens, photos, etc.). If you are serious about buying, we are willing to negotiate. Q. Will you consider a trade?
A. Possibly. We are constantly searching for autographed head shots or body shots. Some celebrities or sports personalities can be difficult to get, so we will ask for specific details on how you obtained the signature. Q. Which countries do you ship to?
A. Currently, we ship to all 50 United States, as well as Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Australia. For other countries, please ask before making a purchase.
Q. Is shipping really free?
A. Yes, shipping is free if you live in the United States. For our international friends, shipping is $8.00 for flat items to Canada and $12.00 to the United Kingdom, Germany, France, or Australia (flat items only). For other countries, please ask before making a purchase. Shipping charges include actual cost of postage, packaging materials, and handling. If your order total is $100 USD or higher (before applying any coupons), shipping is free regardless of where you live or how many items you purchase.
Q. Who pays for the customs, taxes, duties, or other import fees?
A. These charges are not included in the item price. International buyers will be responsible for paying any customs, taxes, duties, or import fees as required by your country. Please take this into consideration before making an offer to purchase. We do not declare our packages as "gifts;" this is not legal per US law.
Q. What if I buy more than one photo?
A. No matter where you live, each additional photo you buy ships for free! However, the initial shipping charge will still apply as listed above.
Q. How fast do you ship? I am buying an autograph as a birthday or holiday gift.
Our business prides itself on fast shipping and excellent customer service. We ship all orders out within 1-2 business days. Nearly all of our orders will be shipped USPS First Class Mail, which takes 3-7 days for delivery to the United States, or USPS First Class International, which takes anywhere from 1-3 weeks for delivery. Orders received after 5:00 PM CST on Friday will ship the following Monday, unless it is a holiday (then it ships on Tuesday). Most customers receive their order within 1 week (domestic) or 2-3 weeks (international). If you need an item faster than this, please contact us ahead of time and let us know. We can ship expedited (Priority Mail or Express Mail), but the shipping costs will be higher.
Q. What methods of payment do you accept?
A. All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover) are accepted and processed securely through PayPal. No credit card information is kept on file at H_D Sports & Autographs. All transactions are in US Dollars. If you prefer to pay using a money order, we may, at our discretion, accept official money orders issued by the United States Post Office, or well-concealed cash in US dollars.
Q. Do you accept returns?
A. Please notify us within 24 hours of receipt if there are any problems with your order. Generally, we will accept returns within 7 days of receipt. The item must be returned to us and received in the same good, re-saleable condition in order for a refund to be issued. You will be responsible for return shipping costs, unless there is an error on our part (shipped wrong item, etc.).
